“Show Must Go On” : Fashion Weeks are back.

The pandemic changed the fashion industry in general.

  • We experienced a biggest change with the uptick in online sales and demand for lounge wear. Everyone was ordering online, comfortable clothing and lounge wear sales have seen a huge acceleration.

  • Many luxury brands have been severely financially affected by the pandemic, takings hits in their largest markets such as China. However, we saw a strong rebound of luxury consumption in post-coronavirus. In the reopening day of flagship store in Guangzhou, French luxury brand Hermès pulled in $2.7 million in a day.
Strike a Pose on Zoom!

With the spread of the Covid-19, fashion weeks are without fashion shows. The brands forced to have an online focus. The various fashion weeks organized by a virtual show under strict health conditions. However, the designers think that this pandemic was like a window of reflection to find a different way to present their collection.

Even models and photographers make the Zoom shoots and FaceTime portraits. Remember the first biggest FaceTime campaign of Jacquemus! For the Spring/Summer 2020 collection, all the images of Bella Hadid were shot entirely via FaceTime.
